NFL Draft 2nd Round
St. Louis Rams | OLB Navorro Bowman - Penn State | Bowman could be a first round selection. Last year they drafted ILB James Laurinaitis and now they will help him by putting another impact defensive player by his side.
Detroit Lions | OG Vladimir Ducasse - UMass | Now that the Lions have their franchise QB in Matthew Stafford. Their next step is to work on protecting him. Ducasse will be the best available lineman in the 2nd round.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers | WR Arrelious Benn - Illinois | Tampa Bay also drafted their franchise QB last year. Josh Freeman played pretty well as a rookie. Now they will have to put playmakers around him. In my 2010 NFL mock draft Benn is the best playmaking WR available.
Kansas City Chiefs | CB Perrish Cox - Oklahoma State | Kansas City finished 22nd in the NFL in passing defense. Cox has prototypical height, weight, and speed for the NFL. He can also be used as a kick/punt returner.
Philadelphia Eagles | RB Jahvid Best - California | He is one of the top RB in the 2010 NFL draft. He could easily go in the first round but in my 2010 NFL mock draft he will slide and the Eagles will be happy to draft him.
Cleveland Browns | QB Colt McCoy - Texas | Everyone has been jumping on the Colt McCoy bandwagon this week before the draft. I believe this would be a great pick for Cleveland with Jake Delhomme there to tutor him. He can sit for a year or two and then step in when Delhomme's contract is done and be the franchise QB.
Oakland Raiders | DE Carlos Dunlap - Florida | The Raiders will be looking to make their defensive line younger. At the beginning of the football season Carlos Dunlap was one of the top rated 2010 NFL draft picks but throughout the year he has fallen. He has fallen due to his inconsistent play and his conduct off the field. In my 2010 NFL mock draft I have Dunlap falling to Oakland and I think it would be a good pick for them.
San Diego Chargers | CB Patrick Robinson - Florida State | The Chargers lost Cromartie to a trade with the Jets so they will have to replenish their secondary and Patrick Robinson will be the one they do it with.
Buffalo Bills | OT Rodger Saffold - Indiana | Currently in my 2010 mock draft I have the Bills taking Jimmy Clausen in the first round. With this pick they will have to continue to work on their offensive line. Some mock drafts have Saffold going in the first round so this could be a great pick by the Buffalo Bills.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Chicago) | CB Devin McCourty - Rutgers | Tampa Bay needs more depth in their secondary and McCourty will give them just that in my 2010 NFL mock draft.
Denver Broncos | ILB Brandon Spikes - Florida | If Spikes falls this far in the 2010 NFL draft then it will be a big steal for the Denver Broncos. Spikes is a very physical linebacker but his speed is something that has hurt his draft stock.
New England Patriots (Jacksonville) | DE Greg Hardy - Mississippi | New England will be looking to make their defensive line younger. Hardy has great NFL size to help him succeed at the next level.

Three fine picks for my Bucs.
